I know that I am new here, but Katie has absolutely wowed me since I started back in August. The first day I met her, she approached me in the Chaffin Center when I went in for breakfast. She greeted me with a big smile and promptly introduced herself. She let me know what they were serving that day, prepared my order, and when she checked me out at the register, she let me know how to write my name down to have my meal payroll deducted. She then proceeded to let me know what was on the menu for lunch, and told me to let her know if I needed anything else. I have encountered others (not here) in the food service industry and they simply have a bad attitude that bleeds into their work and customer service, however, Katie is so polite, kind, warm, and generous. Since I have been here, I see her always on the move, working hard, helping her co-workers and those that she serves daily and have never encountered her without a big smile on her face. It is evident she takes great pride in her work. ALL of our kitchen staff has been excellent, in my opinion.. but Katie has definitely shown that she is willing to go above and beyond. We are so lucky to have her!
