Description

The Cybersecurity and Network Administration program will provide students with the knowledge and hands-on skills required to identify cyber-attacks, threats, and vulnerabilities; design security measures against hackers; design and implement security controls; respond to security breaches; install and configure various Linux and Windows Operating Systems in a virtual machine environment; and run Kali Linux in a virtual environment along with the latest security tools to detect and block attacks (e.g., NMAP, Wireshark, Medusa, Ophcrack, Kismet, Metasploit, etc.). Students will also learn to build and secure networks, configure subnets using appropriate IP addressing schemes, and use packet tracers to view network traffic and develop network maps to help identify potential security risks.

Enrollment for this career program is open to adults and in-district High Schools (juniors/seniors).

 

Financial Aid and Scholarships

This program is approved for Federal Financial Aid; scholarships are also available for those who qualify.
