How do I schedule an exam?
Most exams can be scheduled through our Register Blast scheduling page.
However, exams for external vendors must be scheduled through the vendors webpage. For example, to schedule a GED exam you will go directly to the GED website to schedule and pay for that exam. Or if you can’t find what you are looking for please contact our testing center at (580) 224-8202 for assistance.
I can’t find the exam I want to schedule on Register Blast, or the system is not allowing me to schedule the exam.
Please contact the testing center at (580) 224-8202 for assistance.
Is the Accuplacer required to enroll into a full-time program?
Yes and no. If you haven’t had any testing in the last 5 years such as the ACT then you will need to take the Accuplacer. However, if you have already taken a test such as the ACT or the Accuplacer before and it has been less than 5 years then you can give a copy of your scores to your career advisor to look over. If you met all the required scores then you will not have to take the Accuplacer.
If I am under 18 can I still take the GED?
Yes, but you must be at least 16 years old. And you will need the Release Form for 16 and 17-year olds. It must be signed by a parent/guardian, an administrator from the school district in which you reside saying you are no longer enrolled in school anywhere, and then have it notarized. The school usually has a notary on staff in the office. Once the form is complete you will bring it in to the testing center for the proctor to approve you for testing. Otherwise, GED will not let you schedule your test until you turn 18 years old.
