Description

The Auto Collision Repair program builds the skills students need to be successfully restore damaged automobile bodies. Students will learn to assess and estimate repair costs, straighten and replace damaged parts, metal repair, prepare, adjustment color, blend and paint. Through hands-on experience and theoretical knowledge, students will gain a deep understanding of industry standards, tools, equipment, and safety measures. The program equips students with the skills needed to excel in various collision repair roles, such as body man, painter, foreman, custom repair specialist, or industrial auto assembly technician. Upon completion, students are equipped for careers in  collision repair shops, paint facilities, or related industries.

Applicants must complete a SouthernTech Application for Admission. Additional information and applications are available at the SouthernTech campus and online at www.sotech.edu. Enrollment for this program is open to adults and partnering High Schools (juniors/seniors).

Financial Aid and Scholarships

This program is approved for Federal Financial Aid; Payment Plans and Scholarships may also be available.

  • Refinish Application
  • Refinish Color Adjustments
  • Refinish Blending, Painting and Detailing

Estimated time to complete full time: 10 months

 

Schedule

  • Secondary: 8:00-11:00 AM or 12:45-3:45 PM
  • Postsecondary: 8:00-11:00 AM or 12:45-3:45 PM
