Nurse Assisting

Description

Nurse Assisting is designed for students who are interested in discovering the field of health with an emphasis on Long Term Care. The program provides a study of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and an introduction to the basic skills needed for various medical professions. Students will have the opportunity to earn certifications in CPR, First Aid, Long-Term Care Aide, and Home Health Aide.

Enrollment for this career program is open to adults and in-district High Schools (juniors/seniors).

 

Financial Aid and Scholarships

This program is not approved for Federal Financial Aid; scholarships may be available for those who qualify.
