Carpentry Technology

Description

The Carpentry program prepares students to work in residential and commercial construction trades. Students 
learn safety related topics, blueprint reading, materials estimating, basic and advanced framing, and interior and 
exterior finishing. Students have a variety of opportunities to practice skills while they work in the shop and on-location home.

Applicants must complete a SouthernTech Application for Admission. Additional information and applications are 
available at the SouthernTech campus and online at www.sotech.edu. Enrollment for this program is open to adults and partnering High Schools (juniors/seniors).

 

Financial Aid and Scholarships

This program is not yet approved for Federal Financial Aid; Payment Plans and Scholarships may be available.

  • Secondary: 8:00-11:00 AM or 12:45-3:45 PM
