Angela Leu is the Counselor/Student Support Services Coordinator for Southern Oklahoma Technology Center. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Music and a Master's degree in Special Education. In Angela’s 25 year teaching career, she served as a classroom teacher and a Special Education Director where she gained valuable experience in developing and implementing programs tailored to meet the unique needs of students.
In her role at SouthernTech, Angela focuses on providing mental health support and finding resources to best meet the needs of students, ensuring they receive the necessary services to thrive academically and emotionally. She strives to provide a nurturing and supportive environment for individuals in a variety of settings.
Mrs. Leu also ensures that all students on an IEP, 504 Plan, or ELAP from their sending school receive the appropriate accommodations needed to be successful in the classroom.
Not only does she provide mental health or special services, but she will also provide you with the tools to find and receive community resources for such things as food, clothing, childcare, and housing options.
