Individual Courses within Full-Time Programs: Student must pay for a minimum of 60 hours plus required supplies, materials and fees.

Dental Hygiene Tuition:  As set by the University of Oklahoma College of Dentistry (within the SOUTHERNTECH/

OUCOD agreements including tuition, fees, and local fees).

Payment Options

Note:  Failure of the student or student’s sponsor to make payment on time will result in an immediate administrative withdrawal.

 

Accelerating Independence Scholarship

 

SouthernTech Accelerating Independence (AI) Scholarship covers 100% of tuition for students with high school diplomas from any of SouthernTech’s in-district, public, parochial, or home-schools through the age of 24 for one program. GED transcript students, or high school diploma students from outside of the SouthernTech district, will need to show a history of residing in the district for a minimum of one year.  The AI scholarship assists students who do not have the funds available to meet tuition cost. Students attending SouthernTech while in high school must have had at least a “C” as their final semester grade while attending SouthernTech and stayed within SouthernTech’s attendance policy. Acceptance of the AI Scholarship will not qualify for other scholarships and awards through SouthernTech. 100% of a students’ Federal Pell Grant is applied toward tuition prior to awarding the scholarship.

Scholarships and Awards

 

 Other scholarships and awards received on behalf of the student by SouthernTech will be applied or disbursed in the following order:

  1. Outstanding tuition, books or fees due SouthernTech,
  2. Purchases paid out-of-pocket by the student for testing, certifications, books, uniforms or other expenses directly related to their field of study at SouthernTech.

Any remaining monies will be distributed to the student. Itemized receipts must be provided when requesting reimbursement for out-of-pocket expenses.
