Nurse Assisting
Description
Provides students options for a multitude of entry-level careers in the healthcare field. Students receive foundational training in long-term care and home health aide. In addition, students are introduced to basic medical terminology, anatomy and physiology, CPR, and First Aid. Students practice skills in real-world simulations on campus and complete 16 hours of clinical practice in an actual work setting.

Enrollment for this career program is open to adults and in-district High Schools (juniors/seniors).
Financial Aid and Scholarships
This program is approved for Federal Financial Aid; scholarships are also available for those who qualify.
