Diesel
Description
The Diesel program provides students with the skills to perform basic service and maintenance on a wide variety of trucks and buses. Students gain hands-on experience in electrical, brake, steering, hydraulics and ventilation system diagnosis. They also have many opportunities to problem solve and fix system malfunctions. The hours completed in this program are aligned with Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) standards, and students will have an opportunity to earn industry recognized ASE certifications.

Applicants must complete a Southern Tech Application for Admission. Enrollment for this career program is open to adults and in-district High Schools (juniors/seniors).
Financial Aid and Scholarships
This program is not approved for Federal Financial Aid; scholarships may be available for those who qualify.
