Description

The Carpentry program prepares students to work in residential and commercial construction trades. Students learn safety related topics, blueprint reading, materials estimating, basic and advanced framing, and interior and exterior finishing. Students have a variety of opportunities to practice skills while they work in the shop and on-location home.

Applicants must complete a Southern Tech Application for Admission. Enrollment for this career program is open to adults and in-district High Schools (juniors/seniors).
